What is 908 Water Polo Club

More than a water polo club. We’re a family.

Why we started 908

A Better Place to Learn. A Stronger Way to Compete.

908 began with a simple purpose: to give our own children a place to learn in a competitive, family-centered environment, guided by experienced, technical coaches who could help them grow as athletes and fall in love with the game.

As word spread, more families wanted in. Today we welcome athletes at every level, from first-timers to those chasing the highest levels of competition. At our core, we’re still that same club: high-level training, welcoming families, and coaches who care — preparing kids for a great age-group experience and for what comes after, in high school and beyond.

What makes 908 different

We’re built from a parent’s perspective, so we understand what families actually need: clear communication, real organization, and a positive environment.

We prioritize technical development — athletes learning the right way from experienced coaches, not just playing more games and hoping to improve. Our coaching philosophy is different, too: we want to win now, but our real focus is athletes winning later. Too many clubs chase short-term wins at their kids’ expense.

Why families choose 908

We’re a club run by champions — experienced, decorated coaches who’ve led teams to victory and are now dedicated to developing the next generation. We give kids their best chance to succeed, now and later.
